The Tequemecan Valley secret underground teleporter is one of the many new teleporters that have been added to Genshin Impact with its new Natlan update.
This specific teleporter is very well hidden, and getting to it will require you to complete a bunch of different quests and objectives. So to help you with that, we will be looking at everything that you will need to do to unlock this teleporter.
How to Unlock Tequemecan Valley Secret Underground Teleporter Natlan
The first thing that you’re going to want to do is open your quest log and select “Natlan! A New Adventure”, under Archon Quests. Then, click on navigate in the bottom right corner of your screen to track the quest. After that, open your map and teleport to “Romaritime Harbor, Fontaine” to say goodbye to your Fontaine friends. This will mark the end of this quest.
Once you’ve completed this quest, You will have to ‘wait till 8:00 – 10:00 the next day’ to be able to start the next quest relating to this teleport waypoint in Natlan.
After you’ve waited for the required amount of time, the “Between Pledge and Forgettance” quest will appear in your quest log, under World Quests. Click on it and then select the sub-quest, “Rite of the Bold”, right under It.
You will have to go to the ‘Children of Echoes’ in Natlan to complete this quest, so navigate it and teleport there. Once you’re in the Children of Echoes, talk to Manqu and go through all of the dialogue to progress the quest.
Then, you’re going to have to defeat Pascal in a battle to honor his and his people’s traditions. After you defeat him, you’ll have completed the “Rite of the Bold sub-quest”. Now on to the next one!
Revelations From the Past
Go back to “Between Pledge and Forgettance” in your quest log, and you will see a new sub-quest under it titled, “Revelations from the Past”. To start the quest, go to the entrance to the ruins in Tequemecan Valley. As always, track the quest and then teleport to your intended destination.
Travel through the rocky area and defeat any monsters in your path to reach the ruins. Next, place the talisman on the flat slab of stone to continue the quest.
Now your job will be to open the barrier blocking the entrance to the ruins. All that has to be done is for you and your saurian to stand in the corresponding positions, which is an easy enough task. Once that’s done, the barrier will open and you will be able to explore the ruins.
Make your way through the ruins and unlock the teleport waypoint. Then, glide down the gaping hole and reach the lower levels of the ruins. Once again, you and your Saurian, Navir, have to stand in the corresponding positions to open the real entrance to the ruins this time. This will be trickier than the first time though, as there is a small puzzle involved in opening the barrier.
Opening The Real Barrier
First, stand on the orange platform as the Saurian. Then, switch to a human and go back to the bridge from where you first entered the area and operate the lever.
The platform on which your Saurian was standing will now be elevated. Switch to the Saurian and jump down on the lower platform to reach the other side of the broken bridge. Following that, mend the small stone monument with the glowing orb on top as the Saurian and gain x1 Pyroculos in return.
Thereafter, switch to your character and shoot an arrow at the small monument to form a bridge between the platform and the structure on the other side.
After that, use your Saurian in its tunneling form to go up the structure on the other side and operate the lever on top. This will move the platforms to another position. Switch to your human character and stand on the nearest platform. Now as the Saurian, move the lever back to its original position, to elevate the platforms once again.
Finally, all that’s left is for the Saurian to stand on the nearest platform. Once you do that, both characters will be standing in the corresponding positions, and so the barrier will be broken.
Unlocking the Teleporter
Now for what you’ve been eagerly waiting for, go past the entrance and glide down. Keep going along the narrow path and you will reach the “Hall of Parting Vows Teleport Waypoint”. Simply interact with it to unlock it.
With the teleporter unlocked, you can come back to it and use it whenever you like. Before you leave this area, make sure you complete the “Revelations From the Past” quest to earn your rewards from it.
