No one won the Mega Millions on Friday night, but two tickets sold in New Jersey were among eight tickets that won million-dollar prizes.

The two $1 million winning tickets were sold at the ShopRite on Routes 36 and 71 in West Long Branch and at the Wegmans on Route 35 in Ocean.

The other six second-tier tickets matching all five white balls were sold in California, Florida (2), Michigan and North Carolina (2). The California ticket won $619,804 since the prize is based on sales in the state.

The Mega Millions winning numbers for Friday, July 21, 2023 were: 29 - 40 - 47 - 50 - 57 and Megaball 25. The Megaplier was 2x.

The Mega Millions jackpot will jump from $720 million to an estimated $820 million for Tuesday night's drawing, , according to the Mega Millions website.The final jackpot amount is determined by actual sales.
