What do blinking lights on VIZIO Soundbar mean? ›

If it's blinking, it means your subwoofer is on the lookout for a Soundbar to pair with. If the light is solid, not blinking, it means you're good to go! If you're having trouble pairing, here's a quick and easy guide to help you out: Make sure both your Soundbar and subwoofer are plugged in and turned on.

Press and hold the Play + Volume Down buttons to put the Sound Bar into learning mode. While the Sound Bar is in learning mode, press and hold the Volume Down button on the TV remote control while pointing the remote at the Sound Bar.

If you want to enjoy the high-quality sound of Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, don't hesitate to choose HDMI ARC. Optical can be a better option if you're still using an older TV, A/V receiver, or soundbar that cannot support HDMI ARC functionality.

To restore your Vizio soundbar to its original factory settings, press and hold the Bluetooth and Volume Down buttons for 5 seconds.
